Fully Grown Homos with Dave and Matt, and on today's show we're going to do a wrap up of our holiday. It feels like again. It feels like months since we've been back from holidays now because it is, but we've been busy boys, haven't we? Dave?

Speaker 2:

We certainly have Matt.

Speaker 1:

But we're going to wrap. We're going to wrap Brisbane.

Speaker 2:

Yep, and then we'll be back to doing normal podcasting after this.

Speaker 1:

Yeah which will be really strange and interesting.

Speaker 2:

Because we're going build up some topics yeah, we're gonna also um some exciting stuff coming. Yeah, we're gonna change it around a little bit.

Speaker 1:

You know, I've got some people on grinder that have suggested suggestions for us. Yep um, which is going to?

Speaker 2:

be quite fun, and other friends have asked us to do other things as well, other segments and stuff that we can maybe introduce and have a go and see what it sounds like. Yeah, so we're gonna have a bit of fun.

Speaker 1:

But before we do that, let's get to Brisbane, so we get off the ship. All right For those that are playing along at home. We finally get off the ship, which is really sad because we're leaving some great friends behind.

Speaker 2:

And that was the 1st of December. God, I know, I remember. Fuck Jesus.

Speaker 1:

It's our Christmas, our new year, since a long time ago. But we've been busy, we've done, we've been very, very busy doing lots of stuff, lots of stuff. But we get off the ship. We headed into brisbane town.

Speaker 1:

We were going to meet up with some friends from the ship later on um, we did which we did, yeah, um, at a bar called, oh my god, the gay bar in br, the Sports Bar, the Sporties. Yeah, sporties Bar, right. So in my efforts to make sure that we were nice and local, I booked the Sporties because it's got accommodation above it.

Speaker 2:

Now, this is just a bar, isn't it?

Speaker 1:

It's a bar. It's a cool little gay bar. It's a very cool bar. I want to just point out. It's a great little bar, awesome food, fantastic food, great drag show, great vibe. However, we got there A little bit early, a bit early, and we were sitting out the front and again realised that this is definitely the area we wanted to stay, because there were some hot men walking around, definitely, and we thought it was going to be cruisy as hell.

Speaker 1:

So we definitely want to the area we wanted to stay because there were some hot men walking around, definitely, and we thought it was going to be cruisy as hell. So we definitely wanted to stay in this area. We got there super early. The accommodation wasn't even open for check-ins or anything at all yet, so we decided we'd duck up to a little cafe, which again we noticed, was a very inclusive cafe. There was a trans lady sitting beside us and another cool chick. Um, again, one could assume it was a lesbian, but who knows? Because we were in that really cool part of the city where everyone just accepted everyone and had a great time, had a good coffee there, and did we have a snack? I don't know. Anyway, we didn't have any, um, but we had a great coffee there and it was really nice.

Speaker 1:

And then we got close to time and so we headed back towards the place where we were going to stay, above Sporty's, there in a little hotel room, and I walked in and the guy that was sort of doing all the checking the bar manager, all that kind of stuff I'd said to him oh, does it get here? And he looked out and he seen how much luggage and he said it doesn't not get noisy, right? And he looked at how much luggage we had and he said you probably don't necessarily want to stay here with that much luggage. He said it's pretty small rooms, it's very basic, it's very simple. It's just not anything that you're going to really be comfortable in. He said do you want me to check you out?

Speaker 1:

She said yes please yes please, and thank you for your honesty. So again, it was really good because he was really honest about, I guess, the accommodation that we potentially were going to stay in and steered us away. So then we got in line and we looked around at a few other places and they found a place called Riverside which again looked nice and neat and clean and reasonably priced. So we jumped in an Uber and headed down to Riverside and we got there and it was. It was nice, it was neat, it was clean, had a pool, had a pool I used once. Did I use that pool?

Speaker 2:

No, I didn't even use that pool once, damn.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, Next time no we won't say that.

Speaker 2:

Well, we viewed a few people in the pool? Yeah, we did, because our balcony overlooked the pool. Our balcony overlooked the pool.

Speaker 1:

It was shit, yeah, okay, okay. So there was some rubbish on the floor when we walked into the hotel Not rubbish that we'd left behind, but rubbish that. So it hadn't really been cleaned. The sheets looked clean.

Speaker 2:

Everything looked clean?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was presentable, big enough room, but that piece of paper, which was like from a lolly wrapper or something like that, was still on the floor when we checked out. When we checked out, even though we'd gone down to a reception and said hey, can you replace the toilet roll, please, and the tissues, and because they're down to like next to nothing, and could you maybe get the cleaner to run a vacuum over? Yep, and she said, oh yeah, I'll send somebody up. And we went back that night. Nah weren't there.

Speaker 2:

But we also learned the lesson on the first day, didn't we? About the towels as well, because, yeah, well, we, we hung them up yeah, because you do that you don't leave things lying on the floor.

Speaker 1:

I don't leave things lying on the floor in my home. No right, um, but the policy states that's. It's safe that if you hang them up, leave them on the floor if you want them changed. Um, so every day after that, we just threw them on the floor.

Speaker 2:

It was like quite because who wants a wet towel after you've had a shower, especially when you're having two showers?

Speaker 1:

because the humidity tons of showers.

Speaker 2:

But yeah, but otherwise yes, I'll go back there and stay there again for sure, yeah, it was nice and neat, it was very good location wise, yeah, um and yeah so it was a good place, had some great little places around it.

Speaker 2:

So we booked in there and then we headed back to the sports bar later that evening, didn't we? Because we were meeting Gary and one of Gary's friends, yep, that lived in Brisbane as well. John didn't want to come because he wasn't feeling very well, because he'd caught that bug on the ship, so you know it turned out to be pneumonia. Pneumonia he had, I think, one day, I think he had pneumonia anyway, he had a bit rough.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, so it wasn't.

Speaker 2:

I can sympathize because I was. I wasn't feeling too good myself. It wasn't up to it but but.

Speaker 1:

So we met up with gary and another friend and we watched the um the drag show very good phenomenal drag my favorite was the little short one.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I can't remember. I think you said she might have gone in for your trans. Yeah, she's transitioning, so I mean considering it was the first time back for her, like she was saying to us after we got to speak to her so good. But I just enjoyed her act. I thought she was amazing. I enjoyed all of it. But her in particular was like you know, she was amazing. I can't remember I should have. We'll find out. Yeah, we'll tag her that and then, yeah, we'll recommend, we'll do recommendations.

Speaker 1:

Like I said, to all these things. I'll put up a whole post one day when I get my ass into gear um but um, because it's my job, matt, to do the social media stuff. Um, that's my job, dave's, just to sit here, look pretty and talk and say urinal wrong. Um, and carrot and carrot and do things with carrots but brisbane, all right. So my love for this place is just enormous now as an overall city, right from start to finish, before we delve into all our little details and naughty little fiascos that we had while we were there, um, and fun stuff that we had and things that we did with friends. I loved it.

Speaker 2:

I loved it.

Speaker 2:

I'd never been to Brisbane itself, I'd been through it 30 years ago I'd driven through it on the way to the Sunshine Coast and I'd been down to the Gold Coast, both areas I loved very much so. But to go and stay in Brisbane was a completely different take and like you, matt, I mean I was blown away with the place. For me, it's definitely set me off thinking of, you know, maybe even moving up there in a few years' time. No, maybes definitely. Well, we've got to check out the place first and stuff like that. But look, I mean the potential of being up there. I 100% agree with people that have moved up there and I've got some friends that moved there recently as well. But just the vibe, the feeling, the ease of the city.

Speaker 1:

There's something to do at all times of the day, whether it's morning, whether it's night, like it's a really nice city to walk around over nighttime.

Speaker 2:

It is, and of a night time it is. You don't have to be located right in the city to appreciate it, but for me, the city itself compared to. I love Sydney.

Speaker 1:

The city's got so much I do but.

Speaker 2:

I think Sydney's becoming very overcrowded and I find sometimes when I'm in the city in Sydney this is you know itself I find overwhelmed with the amount of people walking around and it's just like chaos sometimes. You know I mean probably, because we only go into the city when there's an event on like no, but what I'm saying is incomparable to what we experienced walking through brisbane and it was christmas time, so it was still busy. Yeah, um, I just found walking through brisbane was a lot easier.

Speaker 1:

It was so much nicer I work in city, in the, the city of Sydney, right, not for much longer.

Speaker 1:

Not for much longer, so I walk around a bit after work and stuff like that, but it just doesn't have the same vibe. Like, I really enjoyed it, felt safe, it felt very well lit in Brisbane, the fact that, like everywhere you go, like every 100 metres, there's another bridge that you can walk over and check out the Brisbane River or whatever it is that flows under those bridges. It was just a stunning city to walk around. So let's get into some details about Brisbane, so things that we really, really, really, really, really loved in Brisbane Australia Zoo Top of my list it was bloody spectacular. Steve Irwin, what a legacy you've left behind.

Speaker 2:

But even more important, like the people that worked there, including the family themselves.

Speaker 1:

Terry and Rob and Bindi and Chandler Chandler, yeah, whatever his name is but the staff there all wanted to be there. There wasn't an unhappy person like I've been to lots of zoos and things like that everywhere but because I like taking photos of animals and I can tell you that they really enjoyed what they were doing, right, really enjoyed. There's people there that were there volunteering, um, but the layout of this place, like the really cool area, like the kangaroo zone, which was like all fenced off but so open that the kangaroos had their little spaces everywhere to just chill and you can go and get selfies with them and scratch them and say hello to them, like when I say scratch, I'm gonna give them pats, not scratch them, um, because they'll fucking scratch your back. But then there was like little little wooden posts where they basically said this is my resting zone, basically, which was a fuck off area, so you didn't go past that area and every single person was respectful for that.

Speaker 2:

yep, nobody went into those areas, but it was just so clean, tidy and they've done so well in terms of the structure of the place. I mean talking to people that have been there before. Ie you know our terms of the structure of the place. I mean talking to people that have been there before. Ie you know our hosts of the day, which are the wonderful V and Vince. Yeah, they're awesome. Yeah, they took us there, right they?

Speaker 1:

come out of their way To pick us up. Pick us up, took us there, drive us all the way back, dropped us home like took us to this really cool pie shop on the way. Oh, dropped us home like took us to this really cool pie shop on the way. Oh, my God, that pie was so fucking delicious. I love a meat pie. Everyone that knows me knows I love a good meat pie and it was delicious.

Speaker 2:

It's worth going back up there for that, but also mention about Fee's car.

Speaker 1:

Oh, it's so blinged, it is.

Speaker 2:

I like okay, so Fee is blinged everywhere right normally, but we expected a little bit of bling, but everything is blinged on her car. It's so cool, it's, it's her, it's her tourtee. And the nice thing was, the more we looked, the more we saw yeah yeah, even when we got back in the car, we found more stuff, more bling, and that's what's happening.

Speaker 1:

Oh my god, what's? When you think it couldn't be enough sparkle, there's more sparkle. It's amazing, amazing. But australia zoo um top, banana, top, top, top, like. The surprise for us was that when we're sitting there watching the croc show, um, who came out and hosted it? The one and only rob erwin robert.

Speaker 2:

So you got really excited and had a massive erection in your pants fucking like he's hot, all right he's too young for you I know he's look okay, he's hot to look at.

Speaker 1:

All right, he's not too young he's 22 now or something like that but even so well 22, goes into 53, as many times as he fucking wants. Um, yes, please, um, but no. He's a sexy little beast and I tell you, physical, like he was jumping over barricades like fences and fences in one enclosure into the next enclosure of the croc.

Speaker 1:

He was running around with those crocs. He is likable as hell. I have no doubt why they actually hired him for I'm a celebrity, get me out of here, and stuff like that. Because that kid was so engaging to an audience, like, like yes, he's been doing this his whole life, which probably gives him the ability to just be off the cuff and just really engage with an audience, and things like that. Because he's been hosting these croc shows for years now, I would imagine. And he just brought the audience in. We were all on the edge of our seat. He was chasing these crocs around trying to give them dinner and it was just, it was super entertaining and yeah, it didn't hurt that he was hot. And Chandler Bindi's husband oh fuck, he's hot as well. Like okay, he's super hot as well. So if I had to choose between them, I'd choose both.

Speaker 2:

Yay, you'd be in the middle. I'd be piggy in the middle. Yep, fucking, give it to me.

Speaker 1:

Way to be fed by the crops. I've got multiple holes for a reason. Fill them all. Boys, here's some meat I'll feed you crop, but yeah. So Australia Zoo massive tick. If you're in Brisbane, get your ass to Australia Zoo If you haven't been there. If you live in Brisbane, get there as many times as you can. It's an awesome place.

Speaker 2:

Awesome place. So after that we were recommended by Fi and Vince to go and check out Westfields in Chelsea.

Speaker 1:

Oh well, we wanted to go to the movies, so we desperately needed to see Wicked. Okay, when I say we, I mean me. Alright, I needed to see Wicked.

Speaker 2:

This is the very first thing we did. This was prior to going to Australia yeah, prior.

Speaker 1:

So none of this is really going to be in order. Sometimes it might be, sometimes it might not be.

Speaker 2:

We're just going to go through what we did.

Speaker 1:

But we need to go see Wicked. So we said where should we go? And we got recommended to go to Chermside because it's got a shopping centre. Oh my God, it's not a nice shopping centre. It's probably the nicest shopping centre I've ever seen in my entire life.

Speaker 2:

Not in Australia anyway.

Speaker 1:

No, I think it rivaled Singapore.

Speaker 2:

Oh look, I've seen other ones around the world.

Speaker 1:

Okay, yeah, I haven't been to as many places. Again, it's on par with places like Dubai and stuff like that?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, this is the thing You're talking a high-end shop and this is a Westfields that have got like Polo it's got Gucci it's got everything in place.

Speaker 1:

It's got Chanel, right. But the twist on this place right is that it's got like Chanel, it's got Gucci, it's got like Salvador, whatever it is, it's got all these high-end designers, whatever his name is, it's got all these high-end designers. And then in that same centre, in that same area of the centre, they've actually got best and least and Kmart and Kmart and stuff like that. So the thing is that if you're a house-o, if you're low socioeconomic, you can shop in the same area as the high-end Mate. Nothing end mate. I have nothing wrong with fucking kmart and everything like that. I love it. I mean nothing wrong with best and less.

Speaker 2:

I love my best and less stuff. I I put value on money, and where the money goes is, yep be the best place for me yep, correct, correct. But I tell you to have them all in the same thing was a little bit of a juxtaposed juxtaposed just a, because when we first got there, remember, we walked in and I thought, fuck, this is a small place.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

But had we realised that?

Speaker 1:

Then we turned a corner.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and then turned another corner and turned another corner.

Speaker 1:

And then realised holy fuck, this is a big place. The food court was amazing. Lots of everything you'd possibly want to eat was there.

Speaker 2:

But took the transport, didn't we? Yeah, we did. We took a bus and we were so lucky because out the side of the hotel there was a bus waiting. Yeah, there was a bus driver. He was quite cute, yeah and he was. I think his name was adam, wasn't it?

Speaker 2:

or aaron, I can't remember but, anyway, he dave started talking to him. We didn't. We didn't know how the bus thing worked out there, how the transportation. Yeah, we knew you had to get a pass, like opal and whatever mikey and stuff like that, but bridgman's got their own as well. I can't remember what it's called busway, is it? Oh, no, no, um, but anyway. So, um, we walked over to him. He was parked up. He wasn't in service at the time. He was waiting to carry on his route. He was having like a 20 minute break. Yeah, walked over to him, he ran the window down hi guys, what's up? Told him. He said look, just come around. He said I'll sort of like guide you in. He said look. He said what you got to do is you got to go to the central place?

Speaker 1:

we had a nice bulge too.

Speaker 2:

Yep, he was from the uk or he'd been living in the uk. I know he's australian, but he lived in the uk.

Speaker 1:

So he was him and dave had a lovely chat, yeah yeah, and then he said look boys. He said you know, you know you need, I'm not supposed to do this, he said because because I'm um, not because I'm not doing a run I'm not legally supposed to Carry passengers.

Speaker 2:

Carry passengers On this part? Yeah, but. I'll drop you around to where you need to go. He said it's on the way, so I've got to go that way anyway. So he did that, explained to us how to work the system in terms of, like, getting the pass from the actual thing. Yep, yep.

Speaker 1:

And then told us the route. We need't get his name, unfortunately, but hey, but he was again.

Speaker 2:

He was, um, probably our vintage um yep, but again he was, he was hot, really nice guy. That's bold, um, so, yeah, so, yeah. So then we found out. Then you know, transport was like 50 cents anywhere, each way, everywhere. It was great, um, and yeah, so that was amazing to start with.

Speaker 1:

So we get to the term side everything like okay, wicked was amazing, it was, it was dave was impressed. Dave was on board for one second but we've had that.

Speaker 2:

We had a walk around and we had. We had something to eat first, didn't we? Yep, and that was okay. We just went down to where the, the local things were, like the um, the subway yeah, I can't remember what.

Speaker 1:

We had an outdoor indoor.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, oh, that was amazing outdoor bit, wasn't it?

Speaker 1:

it was outdoor um shopping in that as well and where they had a lot of the restaurants and things like that. But they had this really cool sculptures like in the ceiling. That was like very um it was. It was done with intention. It looked really cool and whichever angle you looked at it the big dome thing, yeah, but that was like a seating area.

Speaker 2:

So that was like a chill picnic area. Yeah, it was a sitting area, a big chill area where they had sort of Picnic and everything else. But wherever they had that, it was like it was like a mosque, sort of like top, but it was all open planet. It was a big dome, but it was very, very cool.

Speaker 1:

Dave sat there and was like enamored by it. It was just like.

Speaker 2:

So we checked out of Wicked. We basically realized that it wasn't being shown until later on, so we then decided we're going to have a massage. Oh, I forgot about the massage I hadn't? Oh, of course you didn't.

Speaker 1:

You had a shopping center massage. All right, we wanted a massage by a guy if preferable, because women and I like my massage by men. Right, generally, right now, shopping center massage want to reiterate that. So, generally, what you do always leave your underwear on and stuff like that in the shopping center massage. Because they always say leave underwear on, um right, sorry, that was racist, um, but that's how they do it and that's what they say, yeah. So we got there. After looking at four different massage places, we went back to the original one, which is right next to the cinema, which is next to the cinema, but anyway, um, yeah. But we went back to the first one and, um, we got a massage. We booked in and I think we had like to wait 10 minutes or something like that. So then you went off first I went off first with my guy.

Speaker 1:

He was big, solid, sort of not too bad looking Asian guy. Dave went off first.

Speaker 2:

I was waiting for mine to finish his client before.

Speaker 1:

Or finish off his client, probably now that we know that Finish his client previously. So Dave's massage guy was probably a bit leaner.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he was quite slim, quite slim, probably about 32-ish. I'd say, yeah, young enough-ish sort of.

Speaker 1:

Asian guy, nice enough looking guy and all that kind of stuff. Right so away. I'm getting massaged, all fine, all above board, no problem at all. There was a little bit of a tickle here and there and I thought, oh okay, something might happen here. Alas, nothing happened, unfortunately. I came out and it was a pretty good massage. Right, that's what's mine, right, dave? Dave, explain your massage.

Speaker 2:

Well, it was probably like yours, matt. Um Very well done in a lot of areas.

Speaker 1:

But I had a few extras maybe given to me.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I'll take that some extras. So this guy was rubbing it. I had my hands on the side, as you do, laying on my stomach, my hands next to the side, as you do, on the table, yeah, and he was just rubbing past and he was like obviously insinuating that, you know, he was like maybe keen, I don't know, but he wasn't, he wasn't stopping and you could definitely feel everything in his shorts he was wearing, you know. Okay, and then, obviously, what was happening in those shorts, dave, oh look, was it getting firmer? Well, it was already firm to start with, I think, matt, I mean that's from my.

Speaker 2:

I could tell you know, I mean okay, um so he liked what he saw on the bed. Obviously Maybe I don't know, but he was keen anyway. And then obviously he did my massage. He did it professionally, so he hadn't really done anything to me at that point. And obviously then when they flip you over, she laid on your back. That's when he was doing my lower legs and stuff. It went from being a back and neck massage to being an all-over massage, you know what I mean so yeah, even though I only paid for a back and neck.

Speaker 1:

You paid for a one hour full massage yeah, one hour full massage.

Speaker 2:

I thought it was just a back and neck. I'd asked for which is even better. I wonder why I was concentrating on my legs, but there you go so yeah, so basically. I ended up having a little bit more extra than Matt did. Should I say yeah, I was so fucking jealous.

Speaker 1:

So jealous because I really needed a handjob at that stage. But, yeah, would have been happy to get that. Yep, definitely. So Dave got. He didn't get the happy ending, but he had a happy time. He had a good time. He just didn't get to come unfortunately. Not that time, we sorted that out sometime later. Yep, not that time, we sorted that out sometime later. Yep, no denying. So that was Chermside, amazing Tick, tick, tick tick, tick, tick, tick.

Speaker 2:

Go back there again.

Speaker 1:

Shazoo, definitely tick, tick, tick, tick, tick Transport around of the whole of Brisbane 50 cents.

Speaker 2:

We also walked a lot. We walked a shit ton. Yeah, we did.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but 50 cents on public transport, right on all the buses and the trains and things like that. And again, once you've been there a while, you'll probably get your head around it. It was a little bit confusing because but that's the same for anywhere you go. We didn't know where we were really going at that point in time.

Speaker 2:

Same when we went to Singapore, same when we went anywhere.

Speaker 1:

I mean you get to know what the local numbers are, but there is a free ferry that goes around the whole waterways of Brisbane and while the waterways aren't crystal clear, pristine right, it was still really nice to go and look at the multi-million dollar properties along the edges there. And this ferry took you the whole way around, did a big loop and stuff like that, and it helped having a hot captain. The hot captain was really good.

Speaker 2:

He was. We were pretty much the only ones on board for a couple of things.

Speaker 1:

So it was just like, for it was like oh, I wonder what could happen here.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he went to the toilet, didn't he?

Speaker 1:

he went to the toilet and I'm sitting there going. If he walks out with a bulge I'm gonna go. Oh, do you need a hand? Or fucking? Sitting there and I was.

Speaker 2:

This is matt's fantasies. Yeah, we'll do a whole show on fantasies, my whole fantasy thing.

Speaker 1:

Like I have lots, I fantasize a lot about a lot of things.

Speaker 2:

Even when Matt's talking in conversation, he's fantasizing.

Speaker 1:

I'm fantasizing about whether I can suck somebody's cock or somebody can suck my cock. I went to the gym yesterday and, oh, jesus Christ my fantasies.

Speaker 2:

No, stop digressing, matt. We're trying to get on with Brisbane. Stop it, I'm going to stay with Brisbane. We'll do a whole podcast on your digression. Yes, indeed, my gym sessions. Yes, indeed, so, anyway, so, public transport tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick. So we then walked every single fucking bridge, didn't we? Because they were amazing. Yeah, they were amazing, so why not? Yeah, they were absolutely amazing, weren't?

Speaker 1:

they correct.

Speaker 2:

They were bloody brilliant, like all different, all different, um, but they lit it up so well, didn't they? I know it was christmas time, but I think what people are saying it's like that all the time and the thing is it was just really really cool.

Speaker 1:

every single bridge, um again, like I said looks different, and I have a bit of a bridge phobia. All right, so to walk across bridges is not a problem for me. Driving across it is definitely an issue, um, but every single bridge was different. They're all lit up so beautifully at night time. It could have been lit up at daytime, but I wouldn't have noticed that, obviously, but it was just lovely to see. So we went up one and they weren't too far between them, so we basically got to check them all out. One night, after we were walking the bridges, we decided we were going to walk down to Felons. Well, we didn't know it was Felons at this stage, so we walked down and walked along the riverside of this, really, what looked like it'd be a really cool area, but it was such a cool area and then we sort of Got a lift down, didn't we?

Speaker 1:

down to Rockface, yeah yeah, but then we got told later you've got to go and check out Felons. And we went and checked it out and holy Christ, what a cool vibe. Right, they're building one at Manly, or they've taken over Manly Wharf Bar. I don't know, because the last time we were at Manly it was all shut.

Speaker 2:

In fact, we need to go back a little bit before we went to this place, because the person that recommended this to us was Okay, so we went to book a car because we need to get home, we need to sort out our flights. Yeah, eventually we wanted to come home. We didn't really want to, but we had, so we knew we had to sort all that prior to us.

Speaker 1:

So we looked at the cost of flights to come home and the fact that we may have done a little bit of shopping here and there while we were on but not only that.

Speaker 2:

We went on an international flight first, so we have full luggage allowance.

Speaker 1:

And then we're coming into, it's coming obviously.

Speaker 2:

Into domestic.

Speaker 1:

Domestic that's the word I was looking for. I was saying local. I didn't know what it was, but so we looked at potentially driving home right.

Speaker 2:

We worked out it was going to cost us something like $800, wasn't it? Yeah, per person, per person. That's including our baggage, so we sat there and we're.

Speaker 1:

What's the fucking point of that? Because then it's gonna cost us even more to get from sydney airport back to my car and then drive home. At the end of it all, yep. So we thought let's have a look at rental cars to potentially come back.

Speaker 2:

So we first went to budget, didn't we? Because that's what we thought would be the cheapest one.

Speaker 1:

Yep, oh my god, it worked out just as expensive as the flight flights right, we said fuck that.

Speaker 2:

Thanks, but no thanks. So we then went on and we saw other ones.

Speaker 1:

We had a look at a few other ones and then I jumped online and I looked at Hertz that's what it ended up being and I looked online and I'd seen this special and it ended up costing like $190 or something like that in total, which was cheap as shit. So I reserved it because you didn't have to put anything down to reserve. So then we went into the actual venue to double check that that was to make sure, yeah, yeah and all that, and the lady that helped us there was amazing.

Speaker 1:

All right, her service level was fantastic. Not only did she say, yep, that's correct, you've done it the right way, because we've got an online special at the moment, so they're not paying the return fee or something like that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, because the car was originally from Sydney, wasn't it? Originally from Sydney, so so we did them a favour by taking them back anyway, yeah so basically the car was good as well wasn't it, the car was good.

Speaker 1:

It was a really cool little car, honda one no it was a Mazda, Mazda that's right Mazda 3 or Mazda 3 or something like that, and it had a heads-up display, which is really cool.

Speaker 2:

I know you get excited about those sort of things. I like that.

Speaker 1:

But her. But she then told us what we should do in the next couple of days while we're still there, yeah, and she told us all about Brunswick and all the other places Brunswick, and to go to fortitude valley and to go to james street and to go here and to go there. Um, so it's so. She set us in the right location, didn't she? Basically, she sent us everywhere. So she told us she was one of the ones that told us to go to the place I just mentioned felons. Felons, yeah, yeah. So we sat there and said, oh yeah, we'll definitely have a look at that. Um, so we went and looked at a lot of the things that she actually gave us on on her list.

Speaker 2:

So the felons is a howard and she wrote down a lot of stuff on that she wrote down on. We still got a bit of paper here.

Speaker 1:

The envelope she's told us to go to stafford, the gap to baden, to kempton, munchen to grains.

Speaker 2:

But we were also talking to her about my, my property flipping, weren't we? And she was telling us about checking these locations out, because she said, don't go to this area because it's not that good, or go to this area because it's, like you know, really nice place and there's lots of places.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so yeah I think she was the one that told us that we could go up to the casino and go up to that level and walk around for free, which we did as well, which we did um, but she told us lots of stuff.

Speaker 2:

She was very, very helpful. She would be great in um like a tourist information information place.

Speaker 1:

She was safe. She knew everything about brisbane. She was fantastic, but she knew all about her job as well.

Speaker 2:

Yes, she definitely did as well. So she was awesome. So we put the car and then obviously now we can go back to where we were in our story of felons.

Speaker 1:

So we went to felons and we went there of the morning and we got a coffee.

Speaker 2:

We got an iced coffee we ended up getting because it was fucking a thousand degrees already and we're chatting to some, but it was early evening at that point wasn't it no, no, it was morning no, we went in nighttime first oh, the first time we went the night that's when she told us we went there, remember that night, and we went down to have a look and we're looking at the city coming back in the nighttime we went down that way, okay, yeah, we're just checking it out, won't we remember? Yeah, that's when we that's when we jumped on the ferry initially coming back we paid that one to come back, remember yeah, probably yeah, remember we got on the ferry you know how long ago.

Speaker 2:

This is now dave I know, but your memory is just like a golf I can't remember my own name.

Speaker 1:

I know who are you that's why I've written another thing. My name is he's got a little, it's not steve, it's not steve, not gay man's. Steve, it's true.

Speaker 2:

Anyway, yeah, so we checked out this place, so it was early evening by the time we walked there. Then it became darker, wasn't it?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but it was whatever night it was. There wasn't much happening that night.

Speaker 2:

No, but we'd been out looking, remember, yeah, yeah, and I think that's when we went to. We didn't go to the sauna that day. Did we come back afterwards? Maybe, maybe, I don't know. Yeah, we did?

Speaker 1:

Is that when we Okay, we went to the sauna. Yeah, we did.

Speaker 2:

Oh my God, we're really digressing here now, but we have to mention this. Okay, we went to the sauna, so we went to Brunswick initially, remember. Okay, we went to the sauna, so we went to brunswick initially, remember okay, and looked around and then we knew that the sauna was there, so we'd already prepared ourselves to go to the sauna.

Speaker 1:

Yep, we had, and I'd been on grinder chatting to a couple of people just because I didn't want to go to the sauna and make it a complete bust, right, and get there and have no one there, right. So I had been chatting to a few people, right, and to say it was a very successful grinder meetup. Fuck yeah, it was because the guy that that we were I was chatting to, he was probably about a 10. All right, he was again similar age to us, right yeah, he was.

Speaker 2:

He wasn't married, was it that one?

Speaker 1:

no, no, no, no, no. He was fit as fuck, right and, and he was hot and Muscular, muscular and Well-proportioned, very well-proportioned, nice cock, very nice ass. But he had a bit of a fantasy where he wanted to get fucked in the video room. Now, what was the sauna's name? Wet, wet yeah.

Speaker 1:

In Brisbane. Yeah, it's not a huge sauna, all right. It's got a pool in it, which is really quite nice. Had a nice dip in there. Um, it goes over a couple of levels, but most of the levels is most of it's all on one level the, the sex area and all that kind of stuff, right? Yeah, so the video room again is quite small, but it had a couple of guys in there that were basically just sitting up on the cubicles just kissing and stuff like that and jerking off, jerking yourself off, watching the videos. But we walked in.

Speaker 1:

It wasn't as busy as I thought it was initially, no it wasn't as busy as we thought it was going to be, but there was enough people there and there was quite a bit of talent there, yeah Right, and we walked in, had a walk around and We'd walk past this guy and looked and I'd showed Dave a photo of him as well, because it was on my grinder and Dave said I think that's him there and I said I'm not sure, right because. But we walked past him again and he went hey, podcast boys, right.

Speaker 1:

And I went oh hey, how are you going? And we said his name, which we won't say here. But so then we sort of grabbed each other, had started kissing a little bit, making out, um and he was a good kisser as well um, very passionate, and so the whole three of us were getting into it, and then everybody else's, then everyone else started watching and started building a crowd made him get even.

Speaker 1:

He was getting even fucking more hard and more excited then as well. Yep, so then we were in that, we're in that um video room anyway. That's where we saw it all happened. He eventually and blew his load we fucking, fucking.

Speaker 1:

You blew your load, he blew his load oh yeah, I must come buckets, I think, um. But then he was spent. After that he was gone, he was done and dusted one and done um, but he definitely got what he came for. We both had if I can, had a awesome time him, um. But then I think we hung around a little bit longer. We went to the sauna, went to the steel room and there was another little guy, a little um, I don't know what nationality he was spanish, sp was Argentinian, argentinian, spanish.

Speaker 1:

So again nice big dick, but again we fucking absolutely ravaged him as well. We took him to the sling and just thrashed him and he was fucking loving it. Yeah, yeah, absolutely, he was definitely loving it. So we had a lot of fun at that sign.

Speaker 2:

But in the meantime, before that happened, remember what happened. We were walking down past the glory holes because it wasn't a big area, and these two guys like cornered dave. They cornered me and I couldn't see because it was dark, yeah, and they literally got him and then one of them started kissing me and I was like, oh my god, this is not good, this isn't, he can't kiss, he's just absolutely awful. But he was like really quite forceful and they're quite big boys as well. Yeah, as in, they were not muscular, yeah, chubby boys. And then they were reaching down and they were like grabbing me we're gonna preface this with have no issue with body.

Speaker 1:

No right, I will fuck, suck absolutely anyone. Yep, um, if, if there's a connection it wasn't.

Speaker 2:

It wasn't anything with the body or anything like it.

Speaker 1:

Was the way they were they just, they just forced themselves on dave and literally they, and they weren't taking no for an answer. I was literally trapped. I was literally trapped and I'd kind of disappeared at this stage and I kind of left him to fend for himself a bit. But then I did come back around, I think Help me, because I was looking for you and kind of thought where is he, and sort of then helped him out a little bit and he's gone fucking helped him out a little bit and he's come fucking.

Speaker 2:

In the meantime I've had literally a lifetime. He's traumatic. Five minutes of my life would never get back again.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but um, so it was a bit of fun um, I wasn't a bit traumatized, but it was a bit traumatized.

Speaker 2:

I was like fuck, this place is dark, and not just necessarily meaning no light um, but yeah, it was, even when you're trying to grab me and drag me away yeah, they were pulling, they were pulling back and I was like, no, leave me alone, leave me alone. So we ripped him out of there and rescued him, but it was like when they were trying to kiss me. It was like all teeth and I was like, please stop, I can't do this, get away. It wasn't good at all. Poor thing, poor thing, poor Dave.

Speaker 1:

He's since recovered it's okay, and to the vets Just to make sure it was okay afterwards. Yeah, definitely needed his shots, but yeah, no, we get regular testers.

Speaker 2:

We get regular testers.

Speaker 1:

And this is what I want to talk about. So they had a group there and they were called something else. They weren't? It's not like ACON, but it was basically their version of ACON. It began with R, didn't it not like acon? But it was basically um. Their version of it begins with oh, I can't remember what it was, but they had their regular version of acon, right um, which was I'm trying to look, it's not. That's not that I don't know what it is um, but anyway, they had a guy there that was basically doing testing from monkey, pox and vax and all like make it vaccinations and just regular sti checks and stuff it was.

Speaker 2:

It was super cool. It's almost like they were encouraging because obviously a lot like we said before a lot of married guys do go to these venues never take the opportunity to get themselves tested because maybe they don't know how to do it, a lot about it, so they're getting their dicks sucked by guys this so they don't realize that there is actually a risk to what they're doing potentially and that they're risking people at home. I'm pretty sure it begins with the actual name of the group. I don't know.

Speaker 1:

But anyway, it's irrelevant, but it was a great service. They were providing Free service. Yeah, the guy that was there was so helpful.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, have a professional that was doing it as well, because we had a good chat with him, didn't we? And you don't normally get that in most saunas at all.

Speaker 1:

you'll get like these new devices you'll get a vending machine that can test you and stuff like that rapid testing. But this guy was on hand to actually answer any questions that you might have had as well. He was there to give advice, he was there to do. This guy was on hand to actually answer any questions that you might have had as well, he was there to give advice.

Speaker 1:

He was there to do pretty much his job, which was voluntary, I must add as well, but it was great. It was great Sauna itself. I'd give a big 9 out of 10.

Speaker 2:

tick, it was small, small but I would definitely go back very clean it was. It was manageable. I mean, the only thing I didn't I thought was the disappointment was the glory holes because it was a bit weird, but we managed to get that young guy remember in the jock.

Speaker 1:

Oh, oh god, dave, yeah, yeah, dave, fuck this young guy, right? What? Okay, when we say young, he was probably about 22, 23.

Speaker 2:

Maybe 25.

Speaker 1:

Okay, whatever, he was hot. He was wearing a jockstrap, wasn't he Jockstrap on right Baseball cap backwards right, just really he looked like your all-American porn star. Right, he was off fucking like Chatterbait or fucking Brant's Boys or one of those like broke straight boys. He kind of looked like he stepped straight out of one of those old time old even new American pornos.

Speaker 2:

But he went into Glory Hole and we followed him. He started sucking his ass off to me.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he started sucking dick and that was really good, but then he fucking bent over and dave thrashed him. Right, fucking, absolutely thrashed him. Dave came deep inside him. Um, he's got dave's baby somewhere. Um, but yeah, it was just fucking awesome. But, yeah, dave really gave him a wallop and um, so this is all about brisbane boys. Yeah, yeah, brisbane.

Speaker 2:

This is one of the reasons we love it this podcast is getting longer and longer, just like our cocks did yeah, oh, fucking hell, I tell you what they were definitely hard while we were in brisbane.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, um, but um, it was the sauna. Yeah, great, great sauna, it was awesome.

Speaker 2:

Check it out, definitely check it out, loved it. Anyway. We're not going to digress anymore on this, because we've we've literally gone backwards and forwards in this yeah, we're going everywhere, yeah so I mean we did a lot in brisbane.

Speaker 2:

Like it's six days, so we try our best to cover more yeah so after the sauna, then that's when we then walked, we got that, we got, we went back to that hotel to have food and that's when we saw troy look alike. Oh, the gay bar, the bar, I can't remember what it's called, because that's where. Vince told us to go to remember.

Speaker 1:

We can just see Fee and Vince told us to go to another place.

Speaker 2:

We can just see, and I had photos of it.

Speaker 1:

We can just see. It's got, here you go. Maybe, maybe it's in Fortitude Valley, yep, all right, okay, that's, did I take a photo of the actual fucking name of the place? You would think I would.

Speaker 2:

You would think I would, because there's a photo of Troy as he's looking through things he talks to himself the Wickham, the.

Speaker 1:

Wickham, it doesn't begin with C at all. Okay, we're close. See, I know I took a photo. I took a photo of Bert and Ernie with the pizza. There you go and a couple of beers you didn't do. Absolutely, and I took a photo of Dave eating a pizza with a knife and fork.

Speaker 2:

As I watched it? Weirdo and I did that last night. Did you notice? As well he did I did.

Speaker 1:

I did notice last night, yeah, but you weirdo, I can't help it. I mean, if I but the Wickham was great. That's in Fortitude Valley right.

Speaker 2:

So Wickham, lovely old Art there again, because it had shows on during the week but we didn't have time but we did, yeah, during the day, but yeah, we'll definitely check that place out again when we go back.

Speaker 2:

For sure, big mention for that one, but yeah. But then we then caught the bus back, remember, and then that's when we then stopped in brunswick and we then then walked down to them. We're now going back towards where we got to philip felons. So that's where the first night we went to felons, remember, okay, yeah, yeah, so we went through the whole city bit. We walked through, and he thought, okay, we're just going to walk up and keep on walking. And then we then went to felons and that's where we went down that cliff face in the lift, yep, and then we saw this whole section. We didn't know it was felons at the time. We just thought, oh, this is a cool area and it was just like entertainment area. It was like it, like I don't know, it was set on the riverfront, wasn't it? And it was almost like old docklands or like buildings, yeah, so you know, old warehouses and stuff like that had been repurposed and it was just amazing it was a very cool area.

Speaker 2:

Very good. Artwork again all over the walls. Remember, On the backside of the walls.

Speaker 1:

I think so, yeah, what do you mean In Fellins, that area?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, that James Street, yeah, that area, yeah, yeah yeah, that james street for james street. Yeah, yeah, it was amazing, yeah, so that was really cool. So then we saw it at night time and then we thought, okay, we'll get the ferry. So we got the ferry back and we then had a look at the river coming back and we thought we must go back there again, all right. So that's where we first went to.

Speaker 1:

So then when we went to the felons, then we did some more wandering around, but we wandered around the middle of the city where, like around the valley and things like that- no, so this is the second time.

Speaker 2:

Now you're talking about okay, so I'm talking about when we went down california lane yeah, but what I'm saying is we went to felons that night, so we got to see felons first.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm back to the day. We've already been to felons at night time, or three fucking times. Now let's go to daytime. Felon I can't explain.

Speaker 2:

So this is where we went to felons during the daytime.

Speaker 1:

Daytime felons we went morning time, Dave listen, we're at Felons in the morning, right where we had a nice cold iced coffee, chatted with a girl there Whilst we were chatting with Fi, she told us that there was a really cool guy there called Ryan right, that worked there. We should say hi to him. We spoke to this young girl who was so awesome. She knew him right. But ryan was no longer working there. He was now working at a cafe, at a um coffee distillery I don't know what you call it coffee roaster, called bare bones, yeah, right, but so we text free and fee was disappointed because she didn't get a chance to say goodbye to him and she sent us a photo of Ryan, and we were then disappointed we didn't get to see him, because he was a really good cutie as well.

Speaker 1:

So we then went on our merry way, wandering around the whole city and doing all what we did and stuff like that.

Speaker 2:

Went to that cafe and had that dinner the salad that cost us like $10,000.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we went to a cafe and we walked in and it was a lunchtime ish, so they it was very cool, it was very cool and it was all very fresh and looked sensational right. And we got there and everything was by weight. We didn't know. I got a small because, again, I'm not a big eater, I've had my gastric sleeve surgery and that, and they've just got a medium. And they started weighing our stuff or putting out what we were selecting into a bowl, and they got to a halfway point and they said something to us but we really didn't pay attention. Dave said it was only like $5, but I don't recall. Yeah, I'm sure it was, I don't recall. Anyway. But then when we added all our medium, and stuff like that.

Speaker 1:

There was a meat bit we did first remember and then went to salad yeah, we did the salad section, whatever it was anyway, but by the time we'd actually got these salads it was close to 80 or something like that. But two salads and two drinks, it was like just not normal.

Speaker 2:

They're just like it was just like a normal salad.

Speaker 1:

It was just like, yeah, normal, normal soft drink. It wasn't anything like it, but it was like close to 80. It might be more than 80 dollars even, um. But we were like holy, holy, fuck, and because we'd selected it, so you can't then say no, no, that's too much, right, um, because they can't put it back. But they were looking at us, but it was so busy though, wasn't it? It was packed.

Speaker 2:

I'm sitting there going people in prison I think it would have been cheaper if I could eat in one rather than take away. Yeah, it would have definitely.

Speaker 1:

But yeah, but look, it was still. It was bloody delicious. But we had it like three days later, didn't we? Yeah, we were still eating it. I refused to throw it away. No, I think it was called Rainbow something or other. I can't remember what it was, but it was cool anyway.

Speaker 2:

But it was very cool, but just to make sure you got a mortgage.

Speaker 1:

But then we walked around the city there and that's when we walked down to Fortitude Valley, because we're told to go down Fortitude Valley, Yep. And we walked along there and we stumbled across this place that's called California.

Speaker 2:

Lane no, but we met up with Ryan before then. We did that afterwards, remember, did we? Yeah, I thought it was no, no, no, we went, I thought we, no, no, your memory is really bad, okay.

Speaker 1:

So when we were walking along, then right I looked up and I went oh bare bones, that's a coffee place. It might be where this Ryan guy looks at right.

Speaker 2:

And we just stumbled upon it we just stumbled across it, right. And we're like holy shit.

Speaker 1:

So we walked in and we walked up to the front and it was the coffee bean roasters Coffee roasters, that at the front and it was the coffee bean roast coffee roasters and they were great as well, right, and they were really cool. And we started there's a guy called ryan that works here and they smiled and they smiled.

Speaker 2:

I said, yeah, he's just having a break, we'll grab him right so they grabbed him.

Speaker 1:

He didn't know who we were. He had no idea who we are, um, so we're saying hey. Um, we were just down at felon's a friend of ours, fee. She said that we should say hi to you there. But they told us you're here and we literally just walked past here, stumbled across this place and I think he was thinking who the fuck are these people? And so next minute, no, we're sending photos to Fee saying look who we found. And then he's going oh, let me take on a tour.

Speaker 2:

So we went in the back and had a tour of the roasters and all that kind of stuff and then we said to him oh, look, you know, we got burt nurney.

Speaker 1:

And he said, oh, can I have a photo with him, like he was such a cool guy as well? Um, told him about the podcast, talking about the podcast, and again he was fucking hot he was even hotter than he was in his photo.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 1:

Um, oh god, he was sexy, um, but yeah, so, um, so that told him about the podcast. So, ryan, if you're listening, um thumbs up, we'll definitely catch up with you again, oh yeah, and if you do like boys, um.

Speaker 2:

But then he caught up with fee and vince on their christmas day. Their christmas do as well, as well, um, so yeah, he's a hottie um as well, and a lovely, lovely guy as well I'm very good at what he does. Absolutely everybody loved him, didn't they? The girls that, unfortunately, that felons loved him. Yeah, and the new people that he was going for loved him as well. Just a great, great guy all around yeah, um.

Speaker 1:

So then, when we left bare bones, is that when we, that's, we carried on walking down to carry on walking down right and we walked up this place and it was really cool, um, and it had this really cool like little alleyways Lameways, wasn't it Alleyways lameways type thing, and it just looked really cool. And one of them was called California Lane and we walked up and we again, I have a bit of a love for art, as does Dave, hence why our bills on the ship was way bigger than it should have been. But we walked into this little gallery there and they had some phenomenal art and I think it's called Studio on. Brunswick is the actual gallery and the lady that runs it her name is Lynn Tilt and so warm, lynette Lyn. She's got listed as Lyn on Instagram, okay, so she was soette Lyn. She's got listed as Lyn on Instagram, okay, so she was so warm, just adorable, beautiful person.

Speaker 1:

Loved to chat as we do. She loved Bert and Ernie.

Speaker 2:

Right loved Bert and.

Speaker 1:

Ernie, we were talking to them for ages and ages and ages she had a friend in there with her, didn't she? She had a friend in there as well, so she also makes art as well. She teaches art as well, and she took us up to her studio, didn't?

Speaker 2:

she Took us up to the studio and stuff. So she goes the whole tour of the area didn't she? Yes, just adorable, but so good anyway. Amazing person.

Speaker 1:

And the gallery had and they showcased different local artists and stuff like that. Now I looked at this art that was on this wall and it was very colourful but very fluoro. It was very busy but it was very dramatic.

Speaker 2:

It was literally all fluoro colours.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was all fluoros and stuff like that, but they had these really cool iridescent frames on them in there as well and I just took to it really, really well.

Speaker 2:

I mean, there was a lot of different artwork in there there, different artists and different styles, and they were amazing, all, every single one. But you had this. It caught your eye it was like top right hand corner, where the, the, the sort of like the till area wasn't.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, and it was round and I just I just seen it and I really liked it and so I asked how much it was and I don't think it was overpriced, I don't remember, but it wasn't super expensive, right, it was worth the money and for an original art piece and I looked at it and it just spoke to me and the more I looked at it the more I could see in it and things like that.

Speaker 1:

And the artist you chose, emma Daruzet. Her Instagram, if you want to follow, is e double m? A dot d a double r o u z e t dot art right and local artist. Local artist again. Um, I found out that a piece of art that it was, it was actually from a, not from a depressive state, but from a bit of a I don't want to say manic, it was just, it was very emotional and it was basically bought out of um, depression and anxiety and all that kind of stuff. So it sort of spoke to me mentally as well, a bit adhd in it as well, but it was busy as hell and it was awesome. But, um, the gallery was fantastic. Um, go and check it out. It's's in California Lane in Fortitude Valley, it's called Studio on Brunswick. Go and see Lynette.

Speaker 2:

Check her website. Has she got a website? No, she was doing a website, wasn't she? I think she said she was having a website built.

Speaker 1:

I'm not sure what that was, but if you look on Instagram at Studios, on Brunswick you'll find it anyway.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 1:

Please, please, studios on broads, you'll find it anyway. Yeah, definitely, please, please, please, support these, these artists, because she, yeah, she supports local artists and things like that as well. So, so check it out. It was awesome as well, um, and then we wandered around the rest of the city and seen lots and lots and lots of other stuff we did. We went into lots of places. Dave, where else have we, where else have we got on our list of things? The casino, okay, the casino is a casino casino. It's very nice, very opulent, um, but it was a. It was walking around the whole outside, um, you could see the whole city skyscraper, but it's only open like two months prior, hadn't it yeah?

Speaker 2:

right and we've been watching it from the bridges something, because they had this great big. All the windows seem to turn into like a big sort of like TV screen on the outside.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and they were having countdown every night and they were showing fireworks, going off and countdowns and everything else Correct, it was really cool. So we had seen it from a distance and we thought we must go there. But when we got closer we thought, oh, fuck me, we've got to go and have a look at this thing. Yeah, and. But it was awesome being developed, wasn't it? Some of the shops are still being made and you know, re, uh, re, not re, um were being um set up in terms of like their um, shop fronts and stuff like that. Yeah, yeah, um, but the view was unbelievable. They had like a glass walkway around it, didn't they? Yeah, so you're looking down onto the road and it was freaky.

Speaker 1:

You stepped out onto this green glass panel, but the views of the whole city were absolutely spectacular, spectacular undeniably spectacular. That's definitely a place to go and visit if you want to have a look around, yeah for sure. Um, where else have we been in brisbane? I don't know. We've done lots. I think that's pretty much what we had in our listing that we wanted to look um.

Speaker 2:

We want to go back there and we're going to go back there. Um, we're looking at doing a plan, a drive up there, this time staying in Airbnb. Hopefully we'll take some friends up with us, yep, and then we'll catch up with Vee and Prince, because we want to, because we love them, yeah, absolutely. And then, while I'm up there, I'm going to be doing some recce-ing on areas.

Speaker 2:

Central property areas To maybe do some flips in the future, because I think I think what matt and I was was saying that you know, in the next few years we may very well look at moving up towards 100 and I think now we've been there and seen it, I think it definitely ticks every box that we would need.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, I fell in love with it. Yeah, and you know it's a new area, new vibe and a new start, I suppose in terms of, like you know, um, moving forward, but, um, but yeah, in that regards, I mean, sydney is always going to be a great place and I don't regret ever living here, but I think, as time has gone by, I think there's more places in the world to go and look at. I want to go to wa, I want to go catch up with alan and mike and troy and holly, um, and go and check all that area as well, um, but for me, having been to melbourne, having been to brisbane and lived in sydney, darwin is still the place I want to go back and visit. But in terms of living wise, then, yeah, brisbane would definitely be the place that I would want to go to next to make my base home if that makes sense, correct, correct, correct.

Speaker 2:

So anyway, that's pretty much our take on Brisbane. Brisbane, that's the end of our holiday as such. Yep For now, and we'll be back to our.

Speaker 1:

I'd say normal, but we don't do anything.

Speaker 2:

Normal, no, we are going to be changing the sort of like format a little bit.

Speaker 1:

Oh we're going to play around.

Speaker 2:

We're going to play around, but it's still going to be heavily LGBTQ based, as we promised that we would do. Yep, but we need to sort of like take it a little bit further, because people are saying you know, can you include this, can you include that?
